About Zipy Ride
Zipy Ride is a technology platform designed to make requesting local transportation easier for visitors and residents in Costa Rica.
Through the Zipy Ride app, riders can enter their pickup location, destination, and requested travel details. Participating independent drivers and transportation providers can then review available requests and decide which trips they wish to accept.
Zipy Ride does not employ drivers or own or operate the vehicles available through the platform. Each provider operates independently and is responsible for their transportation business, vehicle, documentation, pricing obligations, and compliance with applicable requirements.
The platform is beginning in Manuel Antonio and Quepos, with additional locations planned as more independent providers join the network.
Our goal is simple: provide an easier way for travelers to request transportation while giving local providers another tool for receiving and managing trip opportunities.
